So after the highly publicized recruitment of Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, by Central Florida, adidas assured him that there would be no problem with him wearing Air Jordan sneakers... one game into the season, they've already reneged by dropping their contract with UFC in lieu of Marcus rocking the sneakers above (Jordan XII) in an exhibition game...
Let me say this:
adidas... just who the hell do you think you are? Your mediocre ass basketball brand hasn't done anything to be demanding that Michael Jordan's son wear your wack ass sneakers... just what have you done for basketball that you feel like you should tell the son of THE GREATEST TO EVER PLAY THE GAME PERIOD (at least for the next few years until Kobe retires... LOL) that he can't wear his father's shoes when 1) he made it clear that he would be doing so when he first got to UCF and you declared it wasn't a problem and 2) you make adidas basketball sneakers...? Have you ever played in adidas? They are terrible... LOL... there is simply no other way to put it... hell, one of your marquee athletes, Tim Duncan, had his best sneakers on Nike! There hasn't been ONE memorable adidas sneaker since ya'll had Kobe on the brand and how long ago was that?! How many great Air Jordans have there been?
I rest my case.
UCF do the smart thing... holla at MJ for an endorsement deal and continue to make adidas look silly with their ridiculous three-striped sneakers... fuckin' adidas... get outta here...
