Congratulations...?

So it seems that people feel it's necessary to tell me congratulations ever since I changed my relationship status on facebook... what the hell is there to congratulate? LOL... the fact that I like somebody and that person likes me back? That another person can tolerate me enough to say "hey, I wanna be with you..."? Is that really congratulations-worthy?

Maybe it's just me...
